Lifetime Journey to Petra

Jim and Sandy, longtime friends of the author, and enthusiastic readers of Brock Meier’s The Stone Cutter, recently made their way to Petra/Raqmu in Jordan. They had an incredible time experiencing the ancient city, and encourage everyone to make the trip at least once in their lifetime. Posing in front of Al Khazneh (Arabic for “The Treasury”), Jim held a print copy of the first novel in Brock Meier’s series, Waters In the Desert.

An Important Delivery

On one of their planned stops, Jim and Sandy also made contact with Jolanda Koopman, the marvelous hostess and proprietess of her bed-and-breakfast destination, the Fig Tree Villa of Petra. While there, Jolanda served them her homebrew Kombucha, and they gave her Brock’s gifts of a print copy of The Stone Cutter, a handmade replica of a Nabataean copper bracelet, and a replica Nabataean scroll. Jim and Sandy say “Jolanda is an amazing person!”
