Singer/songrwriter Bob Bennett Interviews Brock Meier
Bob Bennett‘s iconic song “Man of the Tombs” relates the story of a man beset by a thousand demons (or so they said). The song became one of the major inspirations for Brock Meier’s historical fiction novel, The Stone Cutter. Bob has been one of the pioneers of contemporary Christian music, having two #1 songs and an album of the year under his belt.
Bob recently sat down with Brock to discuss his novel. The interview, a little less than a half-hour long, ranges from why and how Brock’s novel began, to his specific writing techniques, and eventually gets around to the story behind Bob’s song. And while that all sounds pretty serious, there are plenty of laughs along the way.
